March 28, 2008 : Today the group broke into three evenly sized groups. One went to the far west finally, to do their clinic. The other stayed on the compound to relax cause they just arrived yesterday, and the third went to Anse-a-foluer. What an amazing experience this was too. We got to see the VOO-DOO momument and the temple. And we even got stranded at the church for 2 hours longer than we had hoped. It was still a great day. See you tomorrow

March 27, 2008 : Today was yet another successful day of surgeries. We also got the chance to go to the orphanage for an easter egg hunt. I realize that it is a little late, but they loved it just the same. And, as most trips to the orprhange we took them swimming, which they love. While we were at the orphanage, the next group showed up and we had to hit the ground running trying to find them beds, and get them settled. But we got it all under control, and we are hoping that the rain will stop so they can go west.

March 26, 2008 : Still surgeries. Several people got to go to the far west to see Beau Champ and the Bay construction progress. And for those of you who have not been here, that body of water we are swimming in is the Caribbean. Yessssssss. It is so nice to get to walk through the towns and just mingle with the locals.

March 25, 2008 : In addition to the surgeries today, the group spent a lot of time fellowshiping with our different programs. Everything from feeding the nutrition kids to giving the Granmoun facials. And then of course they took off for the town to feed some wonderfully energetic Granmoun.

March 24, 2008 : Surgeries, surgeries, surgeries. What a day we had in the OR. Moving on we also got the pleasure to watch the Granmoun light up as they got there sponsorship gifts for Christmas. It is so cool to see them so excited over somthing so simple. At the close of the day several people got to walk through town and feed our Granmoun that cannot make it to the mission. We are having such a great time making everything come together for the work of the Lord.

March 23, 2008 : Today was Easter Sunday and what a great day it was. We had to seperate sunrise services, adult and children. For no other reason than crowd control and it went very smooth. There were probably 1000 children in service and 1400 adults. For the ret of the day we just rested and enjoyed Easter as a family. We had our first sucessful surgery today, WOO-HOO. We will really be moving tomorrow so look out.

They were so excited that they arrived so quickly that they hit the ground running and helped us get ready for Easter Sunday.
